Pavel Koutovoi
Pavel is a legal counsel with two decades’ experience in cross-border transactional work gained in the leading international law firms. He has been advising a number of major Russian corporates and banks, as well as the governments of some regions and republics of Russian Federation in relation to their multiple Eurobond offerings and other finance transactions. Pavel was also involved in project finance deals arranged by two major Russian banks. Additionally, as a senior member of a leading in-house legal board of a leading global nonferrous metals’ producer, he supervised the company’s external legal advisers in connection with its borrowings and capital markets activities.

  • Debut US$600 mln eurobond offering by UC RUSAL in February 2017
  • All eurobond offerings by JSC Russian Railways in the total average amount above US$7 bn over the period of 2010-16
  • All eurobond offerings by JSC Severstal throughout 2010-13 in the total amount of c. US$3 bn
  • Project financing for construction of M11 high-speed motorway Moscow – St. Petersburg (sections 7-8) in the amount of RUB30 bn. provided by VTB and Vinci
  • Financing by Gazprombank of acquisition by LLC Aeroexpress of double-deck railcars produced by Stadler Rail in the amount of RUB20 bn. supported by SERV’s financial assistance
  • US$560 mln financing in the form of secured bonds offering arranged by Deutsche Bank to fund a buy-out by The Seventh Continent’s controlling shareholder of his partners’ stocks and subsequent restructuring of this indebtedness
